ANALOG & DIGITAL RECORDING SYSTEMS Before proceeding to read the descriptions of our various
systems, may we suggest that you read our section on Analog versus Digital
recording. Analog vs. Digital Recording We will carefully analyze your requirements in
discussions with you before we recommend either an analog or digital recording
system. L SERIES ANALOG TIME LAPSE SYSTEMS The FIELDCAM L Series are color capable high
resolution analog VHS / SVHS format both Real
Time and true Time Lapse
Video and Audio recorders specially
modified and integrated by Fuhrman Diversified for various
applications including rugged field use. True time lapse systems have equal
times between each recorded image that range from 1/60 to 90 seconds but the
recorded images can be played back at much shorter intervals for tape review
and analysis. FIELDCAM
ANALOG SYSTEMS feature easily deployed integrated closed circuit
video and audio recording system which allow recording from 2 up to 640 hours
on a single VHS tape cassette. Various camera and microphone systems can be
used with the L Series. Potential applications for these true time lapse recording systems are numerous but they have a number of features in common: • Temporal(time between images) resolution is sufficient to capture required data in approximately five sequential images without recording too many images for analysis. • Extended recording times (more than three weeks per tape) if required. • Single field playback while the tape is stopped for maximum quality (no frame blurring). • High resolution recording but compatible with many VHS playback decks. • Time and date display / recording on video image (position adjustable). • Matrix timer for automatic start / stop over a seven day week • Low standby current draw • Externally triggered alarm mode recording • Real time recording (at 30 frames per second)available on most recorders • Audio recording (in 2 to 40 hour mode) with microphone option • Built-in weatherproof 7 in (18 cm) color LCD monitor (WCTLV)option • External weatherproof control functions (WCTLV) and internal batteries are options • Complete range of remote camera - MICROCAM™, MIDICAM™, VERSACAM™, etc. • Recorder to remote camera distances up to 3300 ft.
