MOUNTING SYSTEMS WE TAKE THE DESIGN OF PROPER MOUNTING SYSTEMS FOR OUR VIDEO SYSTEMS VERY SERIOUSLY. If the camera system cannot be properly mounted in your required environment, it is essentially worthless! Systems can be as simple as clamping a camera to a branch, a pipe, mounting on a tripod or a piece of rebar driven into the ground. More complex systems can involve mounting cameras on movable insulated pylons with lightning diverters attached. Especially important is the rigidity of the system when long focal length telephoto lenses are used. We invented the QUADPOD™ for portable applications beyond the capabilities of commercial tripods. Sometimes the power supply and the recorder systems require special mounting systems and we supply those as required. A few examples of the many systems we have built:
International Crane Foundation, Baraboo, Wisconsin and U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service installed at Chassahowitzka National Wildlife Refuge, Florida. Monitoring migratory Whooping Cranes.
Magic Arm and Super Clamp mounting system for custom waterproof camera.
Ground anchor system for sonic blast proof solar
panel array. Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas
University of Alabama, Birmingham and Antarctic
Support Associates, McMurdo Base, Antarctica. XXX Super Clamp and Ram Ball mounting system for MIDICAM. |
