SPECIAL INTERFACES

SPECIAL INTERFACES ARE REQUIRED WHEN VIDEO IMAGE STREAMS MUST BE COORDINATED WITH OTHER DATA STREAMS. THEY CAN BE ELECTRONICALLY COORDINATED WITH ON SCREEN OVERLAYS. A VIDEO CAMERA CAN SIMPLY BE POINTED AT A COMPUTER SCREEN ALONG WITH VARIOUS OTHER INSTRUMENT OUTPUT DISPLAYS ALLOWING THE RECORDING OF A VIDEO IMAGE OF THE DISPLAYED PARAMETERS. SYNCHRONIZATION AMONG THE TIME BASES FOR A NUMBER OF INSTRUMENTS IS SIMPLIFIED.
